Welcome to PostArt

PostArt is a unique oil or acrylic painting created by an artist from a developing country. The paintings have a fixed price of Dkr500 (Danish Crowns) – equivalent to US$100 or EUR68, and the size of the painting is equal to an A5 format – 14.8 x 21 centimeters.

Our philosophy is selling at fair market condition and after covering our cost, the profit from the sale of the painting is shared equally with the artist.

A PostArt painting is mounted on a black mat, thus the final size on purchase of the art work is 24 x 30 centimeters. On the backside of the painting, there is also a black mat, within which is a short description of the artist.

In our choice of selection of the artists, on whose work are on sale here on this website, these artists are as yet not established nor well off, but they deliver art of exceptionally high quality and individualism.

By buying one of their painting, you are supporting them in their struggle to make a living. More importantly each piece of artwork is a unique manifestation of the artist, that in spite of the hardship he/she faces everyday, they have the surplus energy to create a thing of beauty.
