General terms and conditions of business

By ordering goods on this website you automatically accept the following terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions apply to all contracts entered into with PostArt I/S.

Language
When making purchases on this website, you may use Danish or English.

Payment
When making purchases in this webshop, you can pay directly online with the following cards:
Dankort, MasterCard, Visa and Visa Electron
Payments are secure, easy and inexpensive. The amount due will not be charged to your card until immediately before the goods are dispatched.

Delivery
PostArt dispatches goods using the Danish Post Office as normal letter post. The delivery charge outside Denmark is 75 Danish Crownes which is added to your order. Delivery will only be charged once per order. Larger orders will therefore not cost more in delivery charges.
Delivery time is 3 – 4 business days. Deliveries to most destinations outside the EU take approximately 5-14 business days depending on where you live. So please be patient.
During holiday periods, delivery may take longer. During such periods, goods will only be dispatched on Saturdays.
For all non-EU orders, customers are responsible for paying any customs duties, import duties, and / or any other charges or fees which may be incurred for importing goods into the country of destination. We cannot determine in advance what these fees will be. For more information, please contact your local customs office. We always make sure the proper customs paperwork is attached.

Price changes
We reserve the right to change prices because of changes in government taxes and duties.

VAT
The price of a PostArt is included 25 % VAT. Note that according to Danish Tax Law VAT is not charged upon the profit of the artist.

Damage in transit
Upon receipt you must check that your PostArt is undamaged. If the packaging is damaged, you must check whether the contents are OK. If the contents are damaged, please return them and we will exchange them at no charge to you. Please contact us by e-mail to arrange return and exchange.
Your right to change your mind
Starting with the date of receipt, you may return the goods within 14 days for a full refund without needing to give a reason. Your right of cancellation may be exercised by declining to accept the goods or by returning them within the period mentioned. However, you must pay the return postage costs. In accordance with consumer law, the goods must be returned in the same condition as they were received. It is your responsibility to return the goods in good condition.
It is important to enclose a copy of the order confirmation you received when you placed the order. If you do not have this, please include a note with the following information: what you want to exchange the item for, your name, address, e-mail and phone number and a reference number. Please write clearly. Please include your credit card number and expiry date, if you would like a refund.

Gift Voucher
A PostArt Gift Voucher is valid 2 years from date of and you have the same returning rights as with a normal PostArt, namely 2 weeks. It is important to enclose a copy of the order confirmation you received when you placed the order. If you do not have this, please include a note with the following information: what you want to exchange the item for, your name, address, e-mail and phone number and a reference number. Please write clearly. Please include your credit card number and expiry date, if you would like a refund.

Guarantee
When making purchases in this webshop, Danish law entitles you to a two-year guarantee period.
Personal information
When making purchases in our webshop, you will not be required to give more information than is necessary to fulfil your order. There is no need to provide any information such as social security numbers or pin codes.
Once your order is dispatched, your details will be deleted from the webshop and only exist as an item in our accounts for the five years required by law. Just as in regular “physical” shops. We guarantee that we will NEVER sell or otherwise pass on your personal information to a third party. All data is stored securely and is only accessible to authorised and trusted employees.
No credit card data is stored in connection with transactions for security reasons. It is only at the time of payment that card data is transmitted to the bank. This takes place with the maximum level of security using an encrypted SSL connection according to the requirements of the Danish banks. 
When you place orders, we request the necessary delivery and contact information. This information is only used to fulfil your order. The information is transmitted and stored electronically in unencrypted form and stored for five years. The IP address of the computer you use to place your order is also stored. This information is normally not used for any purpose, but may in certain circumstances be used by the police for their enquiries. All fraudulent orders will be reported to the police.
Data protection laws oblige us to provide you with a copy of any data we hold about you, and to delete any or all of it at your request.
Any dispute arising from or relating to the present terms shall be settled according to Danish Law at the court of Odense (Retten i Odense). The proceedings shall be conducted in the Danish language.
