PostArt takes off

We are really proud to introduce our PostArt webshop. During many months we have been struggling with technical problems and logistics. We have been travelling and communicating with our artists. And do know, that it is not easy to make contracts, agreements about payment, delivery and transportation with people living far away on the other side of the Equator.

But now we are here and we and our artists are more than satisfied with the result. We hope that you are too, if you have any comments you are more than wellcome to contact us. Use the form here on our websĂte or write directly to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Focus on our Slumdogs

Kibera - the second biggest slum area in Africa is just in the outskirt of nairobi. This place is the home of a group of our artists whom we call the PostArt Slumdogs. For years and years there has been different kond of focus on Kibera and the area is a thorn in the side of the Kenyan government. The government has recently come up with a plan to tear down major parts of the slum and in September this year they actually tried to fulfill this plan. However they were met by large protest from the inhabitants.

Visit our slumdogs Ashif, Gomba, Solo 7 og Maina here in our gallery.

The only female artist

It is hard to survive as an artist in Kenya. To be a female artist is even harder.

During our travel around Kenya we have surched high and low for female artists for our gallery. Untill now Rahab Njambi is our only woman. She is trying hard to find a balance between the demand of the culture that the woman should look after house and children, and her wish to paint.

See Rahabs paintings here on our website.
